The HMRLGA (High Meadow Ranch Ladies Golf Association) Scholarship Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, established in 2020. It was organized exclusively for charitable educational, religious and/or scientific purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our main purposes is to award scholarships to deserving high school seniors who are involved in the game of golf and wish to pursue further education at an accredited college or university.
Although skill or excellence in the game of golf is not a criterion, candidates shall demonstrate involvement in the sport. Recipients do not have to participate on a high school team or plan to play on a college golf team to be eligible for this scholarship.
The Foundation grants one-time scholarships to outstanding high school seniors, who reside in the Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery or Tomball School Districts, and who intend to enroll in college in the same academic year that they submit their application.
Scholarships will be paid directly to the institution the applicant attends, and can be used for tuition, board, equipment and/or books required for studies.
The scholarship selection process will be administered by volunteer members of the HMRLGA Scholarship Selection Committee. The decision of the Selection Committee will be based on the submitted data and candidates are selected on the basis of academic achievement, excellence of character, and involvement in the sport of golf.
